Fasolati Engine — Life Board
What changed? How confident are we? What next step is justified?
The Life Board is the proposed front end of the Fasolati Engine. It is being developed to keep measurements, uncertainty and supporting evidence inspectable, with oral, gut and systemic observations shown separately. It is not a live clinical service, an autonomous prescriber or one averaged health score.
What Changed?
Show the measured result, specimen, date and comparison—not an inferred organ score.
How Confident?
Show measurement quality, variation and missing evidence; allow “not interpretable yet.”
Next Justified Step
Explain what the evidence supports, including when professional review is appropriate.
Walk through the guided Life Board
An interactive design study
No score to hide behind.
Explore how a Life Board could handle incomplete or conflicting information. These are fictional, qualitative examples, not patient data, measured results, or medical recommendations.
Observation channels
Illustrative only- Oral
- No comparable pair of samples
- Gut
- Not measured
- Host response
- Not measured
Separate channels. No composite health score.
Missing data stays missing.
Without comparable observations, there is no defensible trend. The interface should say that rather than estimate a result.
Next research question
What specimen, timing, and repeatability requirements would make a comparison meaningful?
Why no stronger conclusion?
A model cannot supply a measurement that was never taken. “Unknown” is a legitimate output, not a failure to be concealed.
